May "Look for the Awesome" awards were presented at our last morning meeting of the school year. The recipients were:
Trisha Fleites awarded ALL of the students at Spring Creek for making growth and working hard during their state assessments. She stated she had a difficult time choosing just one person when she sees the students of Spring Creek giving their best! Way to Go-Students!
Jesse Conger presented the award to Kim O'Neal who has been an amazing role model for him at Spring Creek. Mrs. O'Neal takes on many roles at the school to include: administration duties, instructional support, and her newest endeavor of being a certified bus driver! Thank you for all you do, Mrs. O'Neal! You are appreciated.
Eighth graders attended their last Spring Creek whole school morning meeting on the field Wednesday morning. Mr. Locke left them with a heartfelt message as they make their journey to high school next year. We sure are going to miss this group!
The Florida Consortium of Public Charter Schools (FCPCS) presents its annual "Charter School Champions of the Year" awards to recognize individuals and groups making significant contributions to Florida's charter school movement. This year Spring Creek Charter is honored to have our own 5th grade science teacher and STEAM school coordinator JENNY LIVELY receive this prestigious award! Jenny is a former student of Spring Creek that serves our school community in many ways! She is a rock star in the classroom providing daily science lessons to her students using engagement techniques, leads professional development sessions for teachers, organizes STEAM night, assists teachers and students with science fair and STEAM days, and serves as our STEAM school coordinator! She also has experience with teaching students reading interventions to grow their success evident in her student's data! Congratulations Jenny on a job well done!

Awesome Awards were presented at Spring Creek's Morning Meeting on April 2nd. The recipients are as follows:
Sherry Conger presented Jesse Conger with a heartfelt message for his dedication to Spring Creek Charter throughout his years at the school. Mr. Conger is retiring at the end of this school year and is going to be greatly missed at our campus as he always lends a helping hand in the maintenance role.
Wendy Fletcher had her team members, Robert Bartberger and Ashley Lucroy present the award in her absence to Trisha Fleites. Trisha is awesome in many ways as our middle school paraprofessional. She has a heart of gold and positive attitude which make her an asset to our school and all she does on a daily basis.
