Hello Spring Creek Families, Coach Roberts has officially kicked off Kids Heart Challenge with the American Heart Association, and we need your help! Over the next few weeks students will be learning about heart health and raising awareness for the American Heart Association with Coach Roberts and their teachers. Our school's goal is for every student and family to know Hands-Only CPR and the warning signs of a stroke by signing up online and completing Finn’s Mission! PARENTS – HERE’S HOW TO GET STARTED Step 1. Sign up online! Visit our school’s Kids Heart Challenge page: www.heart.org/schools OR download the AHA Schools app for iPhone or Android to search for our school and sign up! Step 2. Complete Finn’s Mission! Why we support the American Heart Association: When cardiac arrests occur outside of the hospital, bystanders only respond 40% of the time. 75% of cardiac arrests occur in the home. Providing Hands-Only CPR immediately can double or triple a person’s chance of survival. Thank you for joining us and helping our community become lifesavers! More information will be coming home with your student on Monday, March 24th, 2025.

Look for the Awesome awards were presented at the March Spring Creek Charter Morning Meeting on March 5th. Mr. Meringolo presented Wendy Fletcher with the awesome award for her assistance this year helping students meet their goals in middle school mathematics courses. Wendy's small group and one on one strategies with students help them to excel and find success. Melissa Russell awarded Nurse Conger who is always willing to lend a hand to those in need including both staff and students. Nurse Conger's caring personality and love for the students at Spring Creek make her an exceptional person for the job. She continually collaborates with staff and families to make sure that we have healthy students that are ready to learn each day. Congratulations...... Wendy Fletcher and Sherry Conger!

SCCS Field Day 2025
Spring Creek Charter had a January morning meeting last week when the temperatures were a little warmer. During this whole school morning meeting we always do a greeting, share news, have an activity, and read a message. This time is also an opportunity to announce awesome awards for those going above and beyond. Congratulations to our January "Look for the Awesome" Award recipients: The SCCS transportation team awarded Tina Caruso with the Awesome Award for being flexible in her schedule in both food service and custodial coverage so we have more personnel able to drive the bus for our students. Tina’s heart for helping in multiple departments is an asset to our school community. Ms. Holland awarded Dane Werner with the Awesome Award for his continued success in the SCCS culinary arts program. Dane is an exceptional student in the program being trained by Chef Hiller. SCCS is proud of Dane’s dedication and engagement to become one of Spring Creek’s culinary student leaders! Way to go, Dane! Congrats..... Tina and Dane!
