On January 7th Spring Creek Charter held their monthly morning meeting. The meeting was hosted by first grade classes as we welcomed students back from break wishing all a Happy New Year!
We also had two Awesome Awards presented:
Emily Fernandez presented an Awesome Award to her team with the following message:
"When recognizing awesomeness, I notice a remarkable group of educators whose dedication goes far beyond the walls of their classrooms. United by strong teamwork and a shared commitment to student success they collaborate, support one another, and work above and beyond to enhance the lives of our littles. Together they create safe, fun, and loving learning environments where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to grow. Their collaborative passion for teaching and genuine care for their students leave a lasting impact, nurturing not only academic success but also confidence, kindness, and a lifelong love of learning."

The next Awesome Award was presented by Mrs. Trisha Fleites and her middle school elective class. The students recognized their middle school teachers for their commitment and dedication to Spring Creek's middle school courses and appreciate and respect the work they do every day to prepare them for the future.
Congrats- Middle School Team (Mrs. McGuire-not pictured, Mrs. Mead, Mr. Bartberger, Mr. Meringolo, Mrs. Lawton, and Ms. Lucroy)

Selected from entries across the county, Ms. Ashley Lucroy was recognized by the Lake County Sheriff's Office this morning for being a student favorite who inspires her students. Deputies and their elf brought a sleigh full of items to be used in the classroom. Congratulations, Ms. Lucroy!

Family Day is almost here at Spring Creek Charter! This is the flyer to RSVP so we can have your visitor sticker ready for all family members planning to attend. Please complete the RSVP QR code link to the form and be sure to use your legal name as it is on your driver's license. Information on the lunch menu and prepay for adult meals will be sent out next week. We look forward to seeing everyone!

Spring Creek 4H Student Meeting is this Friday! Be sure to write a transportation note for your child to be picked up at 4pm on Friday in lieu of their normal transportation method home if they intend on staying. Also, be sure to sign your child up for the SCCS 4H club using the QR code.

Boys Basketball game today! Parents reminder that there is no transportation to or from the game. Parents are responsible for getting students/players to the location and pick up after the game has ended.
