Dear Spring Creek Charter School Families,

As part of our ongoing commitment to student safety, we will be implementing a new organization system for afternoon pick-up at dismissal on Monday. Our goal is to create a safer, smoother, and more efficient environment for students, families, and staff during dismissal by letting minimal students beyond the door near the traffic.

We understand that any new procedure may take a few days for everyone to become familiar with. During the first several afternoons, pick-up may take a little longer as staff and students learn the routines. We kindly ask for your patience and cooperation as we work through this transition together.

These changes are being made with one priority in mind: the safety of our students and families. A more organized pick-up process allows staff to better supervise students as they are released to their families. The traffic pattern will remain the same for vehicles in the line, so no changes are needed by families.

We appreciate your support and understanding as we implement this improvement. By working together and following the established procedures, we can help ensure a safe and successful dismissal each day.

Thank you for partnering with us to keep our students safe.

Sincerely,

Spring Creek Charter School Administration

Astor Kids Appreciation Day
Our 5th graders wrapped up the year with an exciting week of Fear Factor challenges! Throughout the week, students stepped outside their comfort zones, took risks, tried new foods, and worked together as teams to conquer each challenge. We are so proud of their teamwork, bravery, and positive attitudes. Congratulations to “The Bouquets” team on their big win! 🥇⚠️

Dear Kindergarten Friends,

At the beginning of the year, many of you walked into our classrooms not quite sure what to do, where to sit, or even how to unzip your backpacks. Some of you were scared, others were excited, some just worried about when lunch was, and a few of you genuinely believed glue sticks were chapstick.

And now look at you.

You can read words and write sentences. You solve math problems, share your ideas, ask thoughtful questions, and help each other without even being asked. You learned how to be students, but even more importantly, you learned how to be yourselves.

This year, we watched quiet kids find their voices, shy kids make friends, and wiggly kids grow into leaders. We saw kindness grow, confidence bloom, and personalities shine brighter every single day. Somewhere along the way, the little kids who didn’t know where the cubbies were became smart, funny, capable bigger kids.

You have grown so much- not just in what you know, but in who you are. You learned how to try again when something felt hard, how to cheer for your friends, how to be brave, and how to believe in yourselves.

Thank you for filling our classrooms with laughter, imagination, curiosity, and so much joy. Teaching you this year has been one of the greatest gifts.

As you head off to your next chapter, never forget how much you have already accomplished. You started this year as little kids still figuring school out, and you are leaving as confident learners with big hearts and big personalities.

We are so proud of the people you are becoming.

Love,
Mrs. Hufstedler, Mrs. Keen, Mrs. Kawalkowski, Mrs. O’Neal, Ms. Bernson, and Ms. Hunt

Our 5th graders had a ✨magical✨ time at EPCOT yesterday for their end of the year field trip! Students had the chance to ride rides, learn about new countries & cultures, and try some amazing food! Thank you to everyone that made this trip possible from the parents, the staff members, the chaperone volunteers, and our amazing sponsors that helped pay for some students! We had an absolute BLAST and loved celebrating these soon-to-be middle schoolers! 🎢🌎🪩

Hello Spring Creek Boys and Girls Club Families,
At Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida, we are always working to create a safe, fun, and supportive experience for our members and families. To help us better understand what matters most to parents and caregivers, we are asking you to complete a brief Parent & Caregiver Survey. The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete and your feedback will help us strengthen programs, improve the Club experience, and better support the needs of our families. The survey also includes questions about what families value most in after-school programs, communication, safety, academic support, and activities for youth.
Your voice matters to us, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. All responses are anonymous. Please complete the survey by May 29th, 2026 using the link or QR code below. Thank you for being an important part of our Club family and for helping us continue to grow and improve for our youth and community.
